In 2013, as part of Sarawak Energy Berhad’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to preserve the cultural heritage of Sarawak, a partnership was initiated with the Sarawak Museum Department to refurbish the section of the gallery located at the upper left wing of the Sarawak Museum’s Old Building.

This partnership project under the theme Longhouses of Sarawak aims to communicate the rich culture and heritage of Sarawak’s indigenous communities and also to raise the public’s awareness about cultural heritage.
